RICH PRODUCTS ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT
TO ACQUIRE MOTHER’S KITCHEN INC.

BURLINGTON, NJ BASED FINISHED DESSERT MANUFACTURER

Buffalo, N.Y. – Rich Products Corporation, the nation’s largest family-owned food manufacturer, has announced it has reached agreement to acquire Mother’s Kitchen Inc., a leading manufacturer of premium finished desserts including gourmet cheesecakes and cakes based in Burlington, NJ

The acquisition includes Mother’s 105,000 sq. ft. Burlington, NJ manufacturing facility and Mother’s premium brands including Mothers Kitchen™;
Baby Watson ®; BabyCakes® and Turf®.

“The acquisition of Mother’s Kitchen and its outstanding Burlington, NJ manufacturing operations greatly enhances Rich’s leadership position as a supplier of premium fully finished desserts to the Foodservice and In-Store bakery markets,” said William G. MOTHER’S KITCHEN

Founded in 1971 as a local bakery, Mother's Kitchen is now one of the largest cheesecake manufacturers in the industry, producing 26 varieties of cheesecake and 12 varieties of premium cakes and pies sold to the foodservice and retail/ins-tore bakery markets.

After quickly outgrowing two buildings, the current Mother's Kitchen facility was built in 1986 and is 105,000 sq. ft., and produces and ships 40,000 cheesecakes and 2,500 cakes per day.

The American Institute of Baking (AIB) has awarded its highest inspection rating to Mother's Kitchen for 3 consecutive years
